It will generally cost approximately a minimum of .05 cents per square foot for vast industrial-type properties and warehouses to .10 to .20 cents per square foot for office complexes, retail establishments, and multifamily units.
Some small jobs can take 4 or 5 hours to complete, and large buildings can take anywhere from 1 to 3 days to inspect and another 2 to 3 days to research and report, so the fees can vary widely.
